Description

We are looking for fun, outgoing and creative personalities to provide high level service to our Members and their guests.   We have both full-time and part-time positions available in our dining rooms & patio.  


Ideal candidates will have previous experience preferably in a country club, restaurant or hotel.  You must be comfortable working in an often fast-paced environment, and enjoy engaging with members and guests.


You will serve or members & guests with the following qualities:

Duties and responsibilities

  • Uphold the highest level of service for our Members and their guests.
  • Maintain a friendly and open attitude for all Members and staff alike.
  • Setup, maintain, and break down numerous types of banquet functions including:
  • Linens, china, silverware, glassware, server stations, banquet service items, etc.
  • Understands content and follows through with information on Banquet Event Orders (BEO) as it pertains to the event as well as future events.
  • Greets Members and guides them through service. Understands steps of service for all banquet and a la carte events.
  • Maintains “Sense of Urgency” when on and off the floor.
  • Ensures proper storage of all banquet and food items.
  • Ability to move and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Works as a “Team” with both Banquet and A La Carte staff, to anticipate and go above and beyond for our Members. Helps team reach common goals.
  • Adherence to set quality, consistency, and efficiency expectations and standards.
  • Communicates any additional changes to Food and Beverage Manager and back of house leader as needed.
  • Assumes ownership of their section and table service throughout each shift.
  • All other duties as assigned by A la Carte Server Captain and Food & Beverage Director.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Friendly and open attitude. 
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Proof of Hep A vaccination is required.
  • Certificate of State of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training (SMART) required if of legal age to serve alcohol.


Working conditions

Restaurant setting in hot, humid, and noisy environment.


Physical requirements

  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stains, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist to reach.
  • Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous repetitive motions
