About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in metals and manufacturing processes, hands-on expertise with AIAG Core Tools, and proven leadership experience managing direct reports. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 while driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
• Drive the use of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) throughout the organization.
• Oversee audits, corrective actions, and supplier quality performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and strengthen processes.
• Report on key quality metrics and lead structured problem-solving initiatives.

  Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years in the automotive industry with experience in metals and manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience managing direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and AIAG Core Tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.

  Preferred (Not Required)

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black      Belt.
• VDA experience.
• ERP software knowledge.
• Supplier management and development experience.
• Experience with castings or forgings.
