Job Overview
Maple Grove Senior Living is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-cared-for flooring throughout our senior living community while helping create a welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain flooring throughout resident and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and polishing.
- Safely operate and maintain floor-care equipment, including buffers and scrubbers.
- Follow proper procedures for cleaning chemicals, infection prevention, and workplace safety.
- Respond to spills and other cleaning needs promptly to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report maintenance or supply needs.
- Work collaboratively with Environmental Services and other facility departments.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness while respecting residents and their living environment.

Requirements
- Previous floor care, housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred.
- Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and related equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical handling and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, grip, push, and pull.
- Ability to lift, move, push, or pull 50 pounds or more as needed.
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment and assisting with cleanup of spills and waste, including bodily waste.
