You're a dental hygienist who has:
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Maryland)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
As a dental hygienist, you will:
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and SRP
- Take and review digital X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Identify and document periodontal disease and treatment needs
- Assist doctors during exams and communicate findings clearly
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts (Open Dental preferred)
- Support a productive hygiene schedule and patient flow
- Promote adjunctive services (fluoride, Arrestin, whitening, etc.) in an ethical, patient-focused manner
