What You'll Do

The General Laborer – Spray Up plays a key role in Concast’s precast concrete manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, first-shift manufacturing position responsible for preparing forms, spraying concrete, operating basic equipment, and supporting daily production activities.

No prior experience required — we provide on-the-job training. This role is a great fit for individuals who are dependable, safety-minded, and looking to build skills in manufacturing or construction.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Spray Up Operations

• Prepare and set up steel forms for concrete spray operations (oil forms, square ends, positioning)
• Operate spray gun and roll out concrete onto forms
• Strip finished products from forms and clean molds for reuse
• Start, stop, and fill pumps; troubleshoot simple equipment issues
• Shovel or load raw materials (sand, cement, fiberglass) into hoppers or containers

Safety & Quality

• Follow safety requirements and wear required PPE
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment

Teamwork & Production Support

• Work collaboratively to meet daily production goals
• Operate forklifts as needed to move forms and materials (training provided)
• Support other production duties as assigned

Preferred but not required:

• Manufacturing, construction, or industrial experience
• Forklift experience (training available)

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk most of the shift
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting (25-50 lbs)
• Work near moving equipment in a loud, industrial environment
• Flexibility to work overtime as production needs require

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $24.00–$26.00 (based on experience)
