Position Summary

Concast is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our growing manufacturing team in Zumbrota, MN. This is a hands-on, first-shift manufacturing position responsible for preparing forms, spraying concrete, and supporting daily production activities. Individuals with previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or concrete is helpful but not required. We provide on-the-job training for individuals who are dependable, safety-minded, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Spray Up Operations

• Prepare and set up steel forms for concrete spray operations (oil forms, square ends, position molds)
• Operate spray guns and roll out concrete onto forms
• Strip finished products from forms and clean molds for reuse
• Start, stop, and fill pumps; troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Shovel or load raw materials (sand, cement, fiberglass) into hoppers or containers

Safety & Quality

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly maintained equipment

Teamwork & Production Support

• Work with team members to meet daily production goals
• Operate forklifts as needed to move forms and materials (training provided)
• Support additional production tasks as assigned by supervisors

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, concrete production, or other hands-on labor roles
• Forklift experience a plus (paid training available)
• Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
• Comfortable working around moving equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production schedules

Pay & Benefits

Starting Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 (based on experience)
