Position Title: Direct Care Trainer I (DCT I)
Location: Eagle Valley Children's Home
Reports To: DCT Shift Supervisor & Assistant DCT Supervisor
What You'll Do:
As a DCT I, you’ll be a champion of compassion, helping individuals with disabilities live their best lives. From assisting with daily routines to supporting developmental goals, you’ll be part of a team that radiates care, respect, and positivity.

- Following individualized treatment plans like a pro
- Being self-sufficient and resourceful
- Keeping documentation accurate and timely
- Assisting with daily living activities (think: brushing teeth, dressing, and more!)
- Maintaining clean and cozy living spaces
- Promoting dignity through appropriate grooming and attire
- Spreading kindness through positive interactions
- Performing basic therapy skills (splints, range of motion, positioning)

What You’ll Need to Join Our Super Squad:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent —
Physical:
- Able to stand tall and proud for long periods
- Ready to lend a helping hand (or two!) with physical care
- Can lift and carry up to 65 pounds
Driver’s License:
Must be 21 years of age with a valid Nevada's Driver's License with a clean driving record
Background Check:
We’re all about safety and trust. You’ll need a squeaky-clean record with no criminal convictions (per NRS 449). Background checks done during your orientation period
