Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere

- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover

- Maintain a waitlist and communicate wait times accurately to guests

- Assist guests with seating, providing menus and answering initial questions

- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth flow of service

- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and courteously

- Support the team in maintaining a high standard of guest experience

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a host/hostess in a high-end or fine dining restaurant preferred

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is a plus

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
