At Adapt For Life, our RBTs work 1:1 with children with autism in our New Albany center, with hands-on support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You don't need experience to start, just reliability, energy, and a real desire to help kids grow.
At a Glance
- Pay: $19–$25/hour, paid weekly
- Bonus: $1,000 sign-on bonus for certified RBTs (limited time)
- Schedule: Full-time, [Mon–Fri, e.g., 8:00 AM–5:00PM], [Opportunities available for weekend hours and higher pay!]
- Setting: Center-based, so no driving between client homes

Pay That Keeps Growing Your starting rate is just the beginning:
- Guaranteed $0.50/hour raise at 6 months

What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy using treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills through play and structured activities
- Support learners through challenging behaviors using their individualized plans
- Collect data and complete session notes accurately and on time
- Collaborate with BCBAs, teammates, and families
- Keep client information confidential and follow HIPAA and company policies

Starting pay within the $19–$25/hour range depends on RBT certification status, ABA experience, education, experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, and other job-related qualifications. Sign-on bonus requires an active RBT certification at the time of hire and completion of 240 billable hours. Additional eligibility requirements may apply.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
1. High School diploma, preferably some college
2. Registered Behavior Technician, or ability to be board certified within three months of hire
3. Applied Behavior Analysis, Medicaid, Waiver and Private Insurance experience preferred
4. Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with people at all levels of the organization
5. Strong leadership experience with great interpersonal and people skills
6. Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills and abilities
7. Demonstrated ability to develop programs that fit strategically with ACSS goals
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be physically able to respond appropriately at all times when working directly with a patient
2. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
3. Must be able to react quickly to behavior outbursts in children and young adults
4. Must be able to effectively use 'response blocking' procedures to protect self and clients from injury at all times when working
5. Must be able to utilize crisis management (e.g., manual restraint) procedures where/when needed or directed
6. Must be able to be on your feet a minimum of four hours per day
