Position Overview:

As a Server at Pinyon you are a guide to our guests’ experience. You’ll deliver genuine hospitality, showcase your knowledge of Mediterranean-inspired food and beverages, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-service environment. This role requires poise, attentiveness, and the ability to balance speed with care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and set the tone for a polished dining experience.
  • Guide guests through the menu, highlighting flavors, ingredients, and pairings.
  • Collaborate in a team-service model, ensuring every table receives seamless attention.
  • Take orders and process payments accurately and efficiently via Toast. 
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining knowledge of presentation standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas and dining spaces.
  • Stay composed and efficient in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

· Previous serving experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant strongly preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.

· Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (or eagerness to learn quickly).

· Polished, professional demeanor with a guest-first attitude.

· Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.

· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
