We are in need of a Senior Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager to oversee a wide variety of construction projects. The ideal applicant will be highly organized, able to ensure high quality standards are met, and will be proactive.


Job Responsibilities include:

· Ensure high quality standards are met

· Establishing and maintaining Contract Document logs, posting changes electronically

· Managing distribution of documents

· Assisting with preparing monthly reports

· Writing scopes of work for bids and assist in preparation of bid packages

· Performing quantity surveys (takeoffs) for all changes

· Preparing estimates

· Traveling and coordinating projects on-site

· Ensure supplies and equipment are available

· Collaborating with subcontractors, engineers, and key team members

· Coordinating required inspections with local authorities

Requirements

· BSc/BA degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

· 3+, years of experience in a similar role

· Demonstrated comprehension of project specific safety plans

· Strong understanding of construction operation and processes

· Must be able to travel to the jobsites

· Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment

· Strong knowledge of MS Office. Familiar with construction and project management software programs such as Procore, Bluebeam

· Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation and management skills
