Description
The Producer is a key revenue driver responsible for generating new business, expanding market penetration within an assigned territory, and building long-term client relationships. This role blends strategic sales, consultative relationship management, and market insight to ensure sustained growth, profitability, and account retention. Success in this role requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to adapt pricing strategies as market conditions change, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition by identifying and pursuing opportunities within assigned territories
- Develop and expand market presence using demographic data, industry insights, and professional networks
- Prospect new clients through outbound phone outreach (minimum of 40 calls per day), company databases, online resources, and targeted cold calling
- Negotiate and structure staffing and service agreements to align client needs with company objectives
- Conduct consultative discussions with clients to assess requirements, qualifications, exposures, risks, and service expectations
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to proactively market candidates to existing and prospective clients
- Manage and strengthen client relationships to ensure retention, satisfaction, and long-term profitability
- Revisit and renegotiate rates as market conditions and client needs evolve
- Actively support positive employee relations to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
- Travel within the assigned geographic territory as needed
- Perform additional duties as required to support business goals
Requirements
Education & Experience
- 10+ years of industry experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Property & Casualty License
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- AMS 360 experience is a plus
