Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints to accurately assemble custom Rugged Science products
• Manufacture custom cable assemblies
• Perform quality inspections to ensure the products meet quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Rework and/or repair products according to engineering specifications
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Collaborate with Engineering and provide valuable input to increase manufacturability of products
• Accurately track labor time and material usage within ERP system (Global Shop)
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

Key Skills

• Two or more years of mechanical assembly experience
• Great attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Electrical assembly and point-to-point wiring experience (preferred)
• Soldering experience (preferred)
