As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing nursing care, medication management, and support to individuals undergoing substance abuse treatment.

Schedule:

Thursday through Saturday - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.     


Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct health assessments and monitor the physical and mental well-being of clients.
  • Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate clients on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the recovery process.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Valid RN or LPN license issued from State.  
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)/ Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ First Aid (FA) certification.
  • Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment facility is preferred.
  • Knowledge of addiction medicine and treatment protocols.
  • Strong clinical and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
