Our private country club is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented part-time Restaurant Server to join our Members Lounge team. This position primarily works weekends, with occasional opportunities to assist with club events and additional shifts. The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our members and their guests while creating a welcoming and personalized dining experience. In addition to taking orders and serving meals, this role includes preparing, pouring, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards and California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) regulations. The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Prepare, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring exceptional service.
- Anticipate members' needs and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
- Clear and reset tables and maintain a clean dining room and service stations.
- Process member charges accurately.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) guidelines.
- Assist with opening, closing, side work, and special club events as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen, bar, and fellow team members to provide an exceptional member experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
- Experience preparing and serving alcoholic beverages preferred.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional special events.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and Food Handler Card before beginning employment.
- Experience using a POS system is a plus.
