Position Overview:


As a Residential Service Electrician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in occupied homes. You’ll work directly with homeowners to deliver professional, courteous service while upholding the company’s quality and safety standards.

This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys independence, problem-solving, and building long-term customer relationships.


Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $32 – $38 per hour + performance incentives
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Work Location: On the road (Greater Phoenix & surrounding areas)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Residential Service & Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing homes — outlets, switches, breakers, lighting, panels, and wiring.
  • Installations & Upgrades: Perform main-panel upgrades, add circuits, EV chargers, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, and other home-improvement electrical projects.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding diagnostics, repair options, and preventive maintenance recommendations.
  • Documentation: Use a mobile platform (Service Titan, Procore, etc.) to record work orders, materials used, and job completion notes.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all NEC and OSHA guidelines and uphold Bleuwave’s safety culture.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and on-the-job training for apprentices or helpers when assigned.

Requirements


  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of residential electrical service experience (required).
  • Licensing: Journeyman-level credentials or equivalent documented experience. OSHA 10/30 preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting, wiring repairs, panel work, and code compliance.
  • Technology: Comfortable using smartphones/tablets, email, and field-service software (Service Titan experience preferred).
  • Physical Aptitude: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in attics, crawl spaces, and roofs as needed.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, professionalism, and customer-service demeanor.
  • Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record: Required.
Salary Description
$32 – $38 per hour
