JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for...


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting in the safe loading and unloading trucks.

Responsible for double checking that the load is safely balanced for transit.

Responsible to operate dock plates.

Responsible for loading bulk tank trucks.

Completing documentation such as Information Sheets to verify quantities and identification

of materials received.

Completing documentation related to the location and / or movement. of materials in the

warehouse, including but not limited to, Silo maps, Material Movement Sheets and other

related paperwork.

Responsible for ensuring packages are correctly labeled and packaged for transit,

repackaging when needed.

Staging materials to be processed, blended or packaged.

Performing audits to check load quantities against shipping records.

Checking integrity of packages of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Assisting in inventories to check quantities and locations of warehoused materials.

Practicing general housekeeping where needed.

Responsible for gathering and shipping samples for potential clients.

Pulling and staging of customer orders to be shipped.

Ability to lift 50lbs

Relabeling of boxes to match correct material and lot number.

Requirements

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Forklift experience a plus but will train to operate.

Ability to write legibly

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GED

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Forklift experience

Forklift experience

Good communication/writing skills

Attention to detail-following direction given
