As a Plumbing Service Technician, you'll diagnose plumbing issues, educate homeowners on their options, and perform quality repairs and installations. This role combines technical expertise, customer service, and professionalism to create an outstanding experience on every call.


You'll work independently in the field while following proven company systems, processes, and ServiceTitan workflows designed to help you succeed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Respond to residential and commercial plumbing service calls, diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and installations.
  • Follow the company's Flow to Success on every service call to deliver a consistent, professional customer experience from arrival to job completion.
  • Accurately diagnose plumbing issues and present Good, Better, and Best repair and replacement options.
  • Educate homeowners so they can make informed decisions without pressure.
  • Proactively offer GreenSky financing and VIP Membership whenever appropriate to provide customers with flexible payment and savings options.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that consistently earns 5-star reviews and customer referrals.
  • Build trust with homeowners and ethically recommend repairs and improvements that add value to their plumbing system.
  • Follow up on unsold estimates through phone calls, text messages, and email using company procedures to maximize customer satisfaction and close opportunities.
  • Use ServiceTitan to create estimates, document work performed, collect payments, update opportunities, and maintain accurate job records.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, CSRs, and management throughout the day.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
  • Follow all company SOPs, safety procedures, quality standards, and ServiceTitan workflows.
  • Participate in company marketing efforts by distributing door hangers, flyers, yard signs, vehicle stickers, and other promotional materials in designated neighborhoods to help generate new business.
  • Attend company meetings, training sessions, and coaching to continuously improve technical skills, sales performance, and customer service.
  • Represent Freeline Plumbing Services professionally at all times through your appearance, attitude, workmanship, and communication.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of residential or commercial service plumbing experience.
  • Ability to diagnose plumbing systems independently.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage your schedule and work independently.
  • Willingness to be coached, follow proven systems, and remain accountable.
  • Availability to participate in the company's on-call rotation.

Salary Description
$30 to $40 per hour
