Supervisor: Rental Shop Supervisor / Snowsports School Director 

 Department: Rental & Repair Shop and Snowsports School 

Type: Fall-Spring, Varying Hours / Seasonal

Position Overview: Rent / Sell ski and snowboard rentals, rental equipment sizing, selection; answer questions, and assist with lesson sales.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Be familiar with Resort products and sell rentals, lessons, lesson packages, tickets, etc.
  • Accurately process and keep cash count, credit card, gift card, and other transactions.
  • Answer multi-line phone and provide accurate information re: Resort offerings.
  • Understand skill levels of skiing/snowboarding and lesson products.
  • Assist school program coordinators with check in processes.
  • Work with Supervisors to serve our employees and guests and create solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform the job and get along with others to build a positive working environment.
  • Show up to work on time with consistent attendance.
  • Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Environmental Factors:

  • Face-to-face interactions with the general public and Resort staff.
  • Walking, bending, rotating, and standing constantly.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time. 
  • Repetitive use of hands, arms, shoulders, back, and legs frequently.
  • Lifting to waist level of 25 lbs. infrequently.
  • Sight and hearing of acceptable standards for Essential Job Functions.
  • The working environment may be stressful when meeting Supervisor, and guest needs.
  • Continuous interaction with guests and Resort staff.
  • Exposure to cold temperatures.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and experience with cash handling and data entry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of POS system.
  • Knowledge of Resort products. 
  • Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and multitask.
  • Ability and commitment to an on-site schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
  • Organized and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation.

Education / Experience:

  • One year cash handling, POS system, customer service or equivalency.
  • One year computer, internet, and phone skills.
  • Background check.
