Job Summary
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the receipt of incoming goods including inspections as needed. They will also work closely with our Quality Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, Technical & Customer Service, Logistics Order Entry, and Production teams to provide a high level of customer service. The position reports to the Supply Chain manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate and perform the timely receipt and put-away of our Air & Ocean shipments while keeping both dock-to-stock time & cycle count errors low.
- Coordinate daily receipt and put-away of goods from local suppliers
- Maintain FIFO restocking practices on items with a shelf life of 2 years or less including preserving batch codes or production date documentation or labeling.
- Direct the Warehouse team on receiving activities in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor
- Coordinate & perform daily cycle counts
- Incoming inspections on locally manufactured parts & documentation as directed by the Quality Manager
- Communicate and coordinate with the Order department on expedited receiving requirements.
- Coordinate the receipt, handling and final put away of returned goods. (RMAs)
- Unload trucks
- Scan and digitally store receipt documents for finished goods from local suppliers
- Organize & file incoming shipment documents from Sweden (Air, Ocean & Parcel)
- Reconcile FAB-OUT location weekly, putting away unallocated product and product for far future customer orders.
- Reconcile byproduct location daily, ensuring product is put away in the proper location
- Calculate dock-to-stock time on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with goals.
- Create full pallet locations by consolidating product.
- Slotting product into locations that allow for timely and accurate picking.
- Perform functions of the Warehouse Clerk position as needed.
- Other shipping/receiving tasks as needed
Requirements
- Possess working knowledge of supply chain, logistics concepts and business procedures relating to shipping, receiving and warehouse functions with a focus on customer service.
- Good organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented, positive attitude & willing to learn new skills
- Good communication and mathematical skills
- Basic knowledge of straightforward physical and mechanical concepts
- Safely operate a forklift, ladders, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Maintain a good and positive attitude and work well with others
- Friendly, solution-oriented personality who is customer focused
Education and Experience
- Two (2) years logistics/warehouse experience or equivalent degree
- Basic part inspection experience and ability to read CAD drawings, preferred

- Required to wear PPE as needed for warehouse tasks, inspections and when in production areas
