Position Summary:
Convergence Health is seeking a seasoned, servant leader that embodies our mission and leads a people first culture. The OR Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations within the operating room suites, including staffing, scheduling, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and workflow efficiency. This role ensures safe patient care practices, supports surgeons and clinical staff, and promotes a collaborative and professional work environment. Your ability to lead and manage people will be instrumental in developing and growing a team that delivers patient-centric, quality care. 


Key Responsibilities:

  

  • Responsible for strategic planning and resource management pertaining to all cases in the ASC
  • Manage daily OR operations, including case flow, room turnover, and staffing assignments
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership
  • Oversee supply and equipment management, including coordination with vendors
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and policy      development
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff education
  • Ensure effective communication and a positive team culture

Requirements

  

  • Active, unrestricted Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain required or experienced First Assist will be considered in lieu of RN licensure
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of circulating experience; preferably in multispecialty (ortho, spine, general surgery)
  • Previous OR leadership or circulating experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of perioperative standards and regulatory requirements (AORN, CMS, AAAHC/JCAHO)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
