The Product Requirements Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the success of LibraryIQ’s platform and analytics solutions. This position bridges business goals and technical delivery—translating ideas into actionable requirements and verifying that final products meet user needs and quality standards. Working in a fully remote, agile environment, this role combines analytical precision with quality assurance to ensure smooth, high-value product releases. This role directly influences how libraries use data to drive decisions and improve community outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business, product, and IT team members to analyze and document key processes, system behaviors, and user requirements.
- Write and maintain requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and functional specifications.
- Design and execute detailed test cases to validate application functionality, usability, and data accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities with the Product Manager.
- Lead or contribute to sprint reviews, release demos, and user documentation efforts.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve user experience, and streamline product delivery.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; translates technical details into business-friendly language.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in requirements analysis, business analysis, or quality assurance/testing.
- Hands-on experience with Agile development processes.
- Proven ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
- Experience with web applications and data-driven systems.
- Fully remote position with flexible working hours aligned to team collaboration schedules.
- Regular virtual collaboration with cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Occasional travel for team meetings or company events (if applicable).
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in agile project and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, VersionOne).
- Strong understanding of requirements management, testing frameworks, and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with SQL or data validation tools is a plus.
- Experience with web application testing tools or APIs preferred.
