We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our Dietary Services team. If you bring solid cooking experience, have supervisory or lead background in food service, and enjoy preparing nutritious meals we want to hear from you.
Full Time and per diem hours available.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, ensuring high quality and adherence to dietary guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing special meals and events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Serve as a backup to the Food Service Director, stepping in to manage kitchen operations and oversee kitchen staff as needed.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring consistent food quality and service.

- High School Diploma or GED
- ServSafe Certification (strongly preferred)
- Must possess at least one year’s experience in food service facility, preferably in a long term care setting
- Must have knowledge of sanitary procedures
