JOB SUMMARY


Location: Onsite / Production & Quality Lab/Office
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager


About the Role

The Quality Engineer supports continuous improvement by strengthening inspection processes, investigating quality issues, and partnering with production, engineering, and customers to deliver reliable products. This role blends hands-on inspection, data analysis, and corrective action with real influence on manufacturing outcomes.




Requirements

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve inspection and quality control processes
  • Investigate in-process failures and production rejections (MRB)
  • Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Create and maintain PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and quality documentation
  • Perform random inspections using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Analyze  and report production and test system data; apply SPC tools
  • Support testing and validation activities
  • Work  with customers on complaints, returns, and change requests
  • Prepare corrective action reports and MQM documentation
  • Participate in quality audits and cross-functional problem solving
  • Follow all safety rules; maintain a clean work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 2+  years of engineering experience (quality engineering experience preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical data, and test procedures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and with a team

Preferred

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Knowledge of SPC and quality tools
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Training provided on KEB products and systems.

  

Physical & Work Environment

  • Majority office-based with regular time in production lab
  • Work occurs in office, quality lab, and production floor settings
  • Ability to work with small parts (with or without accommodation)
  • Occasional travel to customer sites

Salary Description
$70,000 -90,000 starting DOQ
