We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Behavioral Health Technician to join our mental health team. This flexible position offers the opportunity to provide essential support to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, contributing to their recovery and well-being in a dynamic healthcare environment.



PRN shifts (as needed for call outs) 



Below are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:



  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
  • Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
  • Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
  • Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
  • Daily chart documentation
  • Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements

 


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience in behavioral health, mental health, or related fields preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  •  Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  •  Compassionate, patient, and attentive to patient needs
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work PRN hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary Description
$17.50 per hour
