Role Summary
The Designer is responsible for producing accurate and detailed kitchen and bath cabinetry layouts using 20/20 design software. This role provides technical design services and product expertise to builders, commercial clients, and internal teams. The Designer collaborates closely with Customer Specialists and Sales to ensure all designs, selections, and documentation meet builder specifications, field requirements, and company standards.
Success in this role is measured by the ability to consistently produce error-free design packets, deliver all design work on time, maintain high accuracy in quoting and pricing, and communicate effectively while staying aligned with the needs of sales, production, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Cabinet Design & Layout
· Create cabinetry layouts using 20/20 based on architectural plans, site measurements, and client specifications.
· Revise, adjust, and finalize designs in response to builder feedback, construction constraints, and field conditions.
· Ensure all design packets—including drawings, elevations, specifications, and notes—are complete, accurate, and compliant with product and construction standards.
Quoting & Estimating
· Prepare project quotes ensuring accuracy in quantities, product selections, and scope of work.
· Develop full project estimates that include all final pricing elements—materials, labor, freight, overhead, and required margins.
· Assemble complete bid packages for builders, ensuring pricing is comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with company standards.
· Verify that all costs and margin requirements are correctly applied prior to submitting estimates for internal review or customer delivery.
· Maintain organized documentation of quotes, estimates, and assumptions to support transparency and future reference.
Collaboration & Customer Service
· Work closely with Customer Specialists and Sales to ensure designs align with project requirements and client expectations.
· Provide ongoing professional support to builders, superintendents, and internal stakeholders throughout the design-to-delivery process.
· Communicate proactively to address design changes, delays, field adjustments, or product substitutions

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 2+ years of experience in cabinetry design or layout planning
· 2+ years of experience using 20/20 design software
· Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes, and construction methods
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
· Strong math skills for pricing, measurements, and quoting
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
