As a Bar Manager at Trillium, you will support the daily operations of both the lobby bar and restaurant beverage service, ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience through excellent service, staff leadership, and efficient bar management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager by overseeing bar operations for both the lobby and restaurant service areas.
• Assist with daily bar procedures including opening,  losing, restocking, and cleanliness of all bar spaces and storage areas.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Assist in staff supervision including hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching bartenders, and servers.
• Help develop and maintain a strong beverage program by contributing to menu updates and specialty cocktail creation.
• Ensure team adherence to recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations.
• Provide exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, waste, and labor to stay within budget parameters.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate creative and relevant offerings.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Prior experience in a supervisory or management role within the bar or hospitality industry.
• Strong working knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and beverage service standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with crafting cocktails, wine and spirit knowledge, and staff training.
• Familiarity with POS systems, bar inventory software, and related technology.
• TIPs Certification or equivalent in responsible alcohol service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the bar and restaurant areas.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted.
