Description

We are looking for a project controls professional with familiarity with basic accounting principles and project/business financials to support our team in managing day-to-day project management activity. 


Support project managers, business groups, profit center leaders, and executives on various project functions including but not limited to:

  • Preparation of financial reports for management.
  • Completion of project audits including quality and contract compliance audits.  
  • Assessment of the performance of a project against the project schedule/budget.
  • Communicating project status and direction effectively and efficiently utilizing tools and metrics available.
  • Establishment and coordination of monthly project reviews between Project Managers and supervisors.
  • Communicating with the Project Managers and the Accounting department month end revenue accruals and progress reporting.
  • Administration and development (with Legal department oversight) of contracts/agreements.
  • Project set-up including generating setup documents, helping develop project schedules, filing procedures, and project work plans.
  • Project close-out by ensuring proper filing, project write-ups, etc are completed in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • 2+ years of relative experience in in managing contracts, and/or project finances
  • An understanding of the engineering and architectural consulting practice preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Deltek Vision is highly preferred
