Responsibilities
- Dispense, adjust, and repair eyeglasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions from our Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.
- Educate patients on lens options, frames, coatings, and general eye care.
- Manage inventory, including ordering frames, lenses, and supplies.
- Ensure all eye wear meets required quality and safety standards.
- Handle billing, insurance verification, and process optical claims.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive optical display
Qualifications
- Hold a valid state Optician's License (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum of 3 years of dispensing experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of optical products, lens technology (e.g., progressives, high-index), and fitting techniques.
