Why This Role Matters
The Senior Salesforce Admin will join an agile business systems team, reporting to our Director of Business Systems. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing the technical strategy across business systems, including Salesforce as well as other third-party tools. This is an exciting opportunity to support a complex and dynamic implementation within a fun, fast-paced, and growing organization.
What you’ll own
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and Salesforce architect to document business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions within Salesforce and other third-party business systems, including Kinective’s PSA tool and marketing automation tool
- Customize Salesforce and other applications by configuring workflows, process automation, user interfaces and data models
- Ensure data quality, perform deduplication, and oversee data migrations
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including business process workflows, data flow diagrams, solution architecture and release notes
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions and licenses
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support decision-making
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for business systems
- Adhere to university policies, industry best practices, and compliance standards for Salesforce and other systems administration

- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring key deliverables are met
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or conflicts in timeline
- Presenting information and responding to questions from managers, end-users and staff
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to self-direct workload based on urgency and impact
Necessary Qualifications & Competencies
- 5+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud, CPQ, and expertise in key Salesforce architectural concepts (especially Salesforce CPQ)
- Experience with marketing automation and PSA tools. Specific experience with HubSpot and Certinia a plus
- Proficiency in flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and user management
- Experience with Agile project management framework
- Preference for experience in the banking and financial institution industry in a B2B SaaS environment
Office Expectation
This role is remote. If you live in the Phoenix or Denver metropolitan areas, some minimal in-office work may be required.
Pay, Benefits & Total Rewards
$110,000 – $130,000
The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum for this role. Individual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, job-related skills, location, and internal equity, and most offers are not made at the top of the range.
