Specialized Residential Support Staff (multiple openings)

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Residential Support Staff to provide direct care to an individual with developmental disabilities who will reside in a residential setting staffed 24/7. This role focuses on supporting the client in developing self-regulation skills, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe and respectful home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily support, supervision, and crisis intervention to ensure client safety.
• Build a therapeutic, respectful, and choice-driven living environment.
• Implement the individualized support plan, and behavioral support plan.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, transportation, and household duties.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily data, incident reports, and financial tracking.
• Support clients in building healthy relationships, community inclusion, and self-advocacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2–4 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to support individuals who may exhibit dangerous or unpredictable behaviors.
• Strong judgment, professionalism, and documentation skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, web navigation).
• Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations; flexible and creative problem-solver.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable insured vehicle.

Position Details

· Hours over 30/week eligible for a full benefit package.  The schedule may include evening, overnight and weekend hours.

The overnight shift in this home is sleep overnight.  You may prefer a schedule with overnight only.  Or perhaps you are a Weekend Warrior, looking to work Saturday and Sunday to fit your lifestyle.  Let's connect and create a schedule that works for you and our team.    

· $25.43 for daytime hours and $20.68 for overnights.  The rates include the base and stipend.  

· Sign on bonus up to $500.
