Requirements

 

What You’ll Do

As a Patient Concierge, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

  • Deliver a personalized and friendly patient experience during registration, including greeting patients, updating demographic and financial information, and collecting co-pays 
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions, including assisting with paperwork and managing dynamic or escalated situations with professionalism and empathy 
  • Schedule provider appointments, obtain pre-certifications and prior authorizations, and coordinate interpreters as needed 
  • Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and complete all required documentation 
  • Balance daily cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records 
  • Prepare and maintain electronic medical records and registration materials in accordance with company policies 
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area 
  • Operate and maintain office equipment and manage supply inventory, and ordering 
  • The support team needs to be flexible and perform additional duties as required

 

What You Bring

  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Basic math proficiency and attention to detail 
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Windows-based systems 
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support all areas of the practice 
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience; healthcare experience preferred
