Hartung Glass Industries is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver who likes to be hands-on and safely deliver glass to our customers in a timely manner. With a pay range of $27 to $32+ per hour (based on experience), plus excellent benefits, this position is for those who don’t mind a physically demanding role and takes pride in delivering quality!

Your Role:

As a Delivery Driver with Hartung Glass Industries, you are the critical link between our quality glass products and our customers. This role involves both local and cross border routes to CA., with some early morning start times. You'll load, offload, and deliver glass to various job sites, ensuring every delivery is handled safely and efficiently. 

What to Expect: More than just a driving job.

Physical Demands: Handling glass includes lifting, carrying and loading glass materials, so strength and endurance are a must!

Hands-on Deliveries: Secure and check loads, load/unload at customer sites, and perform routine maintenance on your vehicle. 

Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, ensure timely deliveries and manage backorders or returns. 

Attention to Detail: Maintain thorough vehicle logs, driver logs, and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.

• Class A CDL license (Required)
• Maintain an acceptable MVR and current DOT Medical card
• Ability to pass a road test and DOT UA test 
• Experience in safe driving practices and vehicle inspection procedures (Pre & post trip vehicle inspections)
• Check and secure loads
• Operate flatbed load/ unload (Forklift/ Moffett)
• Able to pass DOT regulated drug/alcohol screen
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, carry, load/ unload glass
• Ability to provide stellar customer service and resolve issues as need
• Great reliable attendance and work ethic
• Other duties as assigned
