POSITION: Program Staff for Plumley Village Clubhouse (Boys & Girls Club), 16 Laurel Street, Worcester, MA
HOURS OF WORK: Part Time –20 hours per week, 2pm-6pm
WORK STATUS: Non-Exempt
HOURLY RATE: Starting at $16/hour
The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is a nonprofit, charitable, educational organization recognized as a leading advocate for youth development, working to help youth of all backgrounds.
Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to become responsible, productive, and caring citizens. We provide girls and boys with effective diverse programs and services; and demonstrate that caring adults can truly help young people grow into contributing human beings with the necessary skills for living.
Reporting to the Unit Director at Plumley Village, the Program Staff will assist with providing fun and engaging social, recreational, and educational activities to children ages 8 -18.
All applicants will be required to pass a criminal offender record information check (CORI), and a national background check.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school degree (or equivalent) required. A minimum of one-year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth development organization with planning and supervising activities preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
