Position Overview
The Implementation Consultant serves as a delivery expert, driving successful implementation and customer adoption of ARKANCE solutions and technology offerings. This role focuses primarily on executing complex construction technology implementations, ensuring customers realize maximum value from their technology investments through hands on delivery, training, and ongoing support.
Implementation Consultants own the post-sales customer journey, managing multiple concurrent implementations from discovery through deployment and optimization. The role requires deep construction industry expertise combined with technical proficiency to deliver solutions that transform customer workflows and business processes.
The role will assist with scoping new opportunities, preparing demonstrations, delivering implementations, and supporting customers as they onboard to our platform ecosystem (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, NetSuite, custom integrations, and analytics tooling).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer-Facing Services (65%-80% Billable Time)
- Drive successful implementations for Construction-specific accounts (Subcontractor, General Contractor, Owner/Developer) with customers $1M – 50M+ in annual revenue
- Manage up to 25 implementations simultaneously, including both strategic and program-level customers
- Deliver advanced training, consulting, and implementation services focused on high-level scenarios specific to Autodesk Construction Cloud portfolio
- Perform "Discovery" consultations to uncover and identify additional products and services for unrealized customer needs
- Develop detailed proposal documentation with schedules of work based on customer needs and recommendations
- Deliver on-site training as a professional technical representative to ensure customer satisfaction
- Leverage real-world construction experience to define customer workflows and identify stopgaps and deficiencies
- Support customer success through technical product implementation, consulting, mentoring, training, and support services
- Provide technical product assistance ensuring technical satisfaction
- Adhere to company-standard technical implementations to address specific customer needs
- Maintain consistent tracking of project hours and proactive communication with Project Managers regarding delivery status
- Manage $XX or more of customer project work quarterly
Sales Support Activities (10%-20% Pre-Sales Time)
- Lead late-stage pre-sales scoping sessions to define scale and scope of potential implementations
- Develop and conduct professional product presentations and demonstrations to generate sales
- Identify opportunities for additional products and services during implementation engagements to address unrealized customer needs
- Partner with sales team to share in-depth product and customer knowledge to increase sales of Autodesk products and ARKANCE-supported solutions
- Provide competitive analysis of Autodesk products versus competitive products throughout the post-sales cycle
- Relay customer input regarding product enhancements and prioritization needs
Administrative and Development Activities (5%-10% Overhead Time)
- Maintain industry-recognized leadership position through social networking and public events including: product tips/tricks, white papers, publication articles, marketing presentations, tradeshows, AU presentations, and blogging
- Maintain cutting-edge experience with Autodesk Tools within 2 years of release and other software applications as determined by management
- Complete mandatory weekly digital timesheet accounting
- Maintain consistent tracking of customer hours and communication with Project Managers
- Provide transparent communication with project-assigned PM regarding project probability of success/failure

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Expertise
- Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar AECO fields
- 3-5 years of Subcontractor, General Contractor, and/or Owner/Developer industry experience
Business and Industry Knowledge
- Thorough understanding of Construction Project Lifecycles
- Ability to coordinate effectively when multiple project priorities conflict and provide viable solutions to internal and external customers
- Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Ability to deal with industry-specific companies at a business-to-business level, identifying and providing solutions that fulfill business needs
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate solutions/benefits of technology and services to clients
- Good working attitude and desire to be a key member of dynamic team
- Proactive commitment to project/customer success
- Demonstrated ability to work with industry-specific companies at business-to-business level, identifying and providing solutions that fulfill client business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- General knowledge of Autodesk offerings for Construction
- Broad understanding of costing mechanisms on construction projects, including Budgeting, Pay Applications/Requisitions, Change Management, and Forecasting
- General knowledge of ERP systems prevalent in the construction industry
- Familiarity with Revit/Navisworks best practices and workflows
- Thorough understanding of integrations between systems, such as middleware

• Continuous use of computers and other office equipment

Pay range for this position: $90k-110k
