Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to serve as a Group Home Manager for one of our residential facilities. In this dual-role position, you will provide direct care, oversee daily operations, and lead a team of Direct Support Professionals. You'll work directly with residents who may have co-occurring mental health diagnoses, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met through individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychiatric and behavioral health support to residents with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental illness.
- Supervise daily operations of the home, including staff scheduling, medication administration, and coordination of care.
- Administer and monitor prescribed medications, documenting and reporting side effects or concerns to medical professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, conducting assessments and evaluations to ensure evolving needs are met.
- Serve as a liaison with families, day programs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and person-centered care.
- Oversee and mentor Direct Support Staff, modeling best practices in crisis prevention, communication, and person-first care.
- Ensure compliance with Title 17/Title 22 regulations, licensing requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Promote community integration through recreational, vocational, and therapeutic activities.

Requirements:
- Active California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
- Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health, mental health, or developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to read and write in English
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical job duties
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have valid CA driver's license
