Job Description:

ASG is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a highly respected, technically diverse team supporting the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) enterprise network and infrastructure environment. This position supports critical server, firewall, and network modernization initiatives and requires a seasoned professional capable of leading complex projects, resolving advanced technical issues, and operating independently or as part of an integrated engineering team.  

What We Need:

• Minimum 8 years of senior network engineering experience.
• Enterprise firewall and project leadership experience.
• STIG Review and Remediation.

Technical Qualifications 

Experience with firewalls and two or more of the following: 

• Azure cloud migration and troubleshooting.
• Cisco network design and troubleshooting.
• VPN concentrators and firewall configuration. 
• Windows Server, VMware, DNS administration.
• Cisco ISE, Prime, ACS.
• IDS/IPS.
• Database management.

Work Location & Schedule 

• Regular onsite support required.
• Must reside within commuting distance of Fort Lee.
• Hybrid schedule authorized.
• Participation in a rotational on-call schedule is required.
• After-hours support is required as operational needs dictate.
• Mission-critical DoD environment.

Clearance & Compliance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance 

• DoD 8140 Certifications: 

  – (441) Network Operations Specialist – Intermediate 

  – (521) Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist – Advanced 

Certifications 

• Cisco CCNP
