Irrigation Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and optimal plant health. This role requires a strong understanding of irrigation techniques and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and surface irrigation.

- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify and resolve issues.

- Repair or replace damaged components, such as pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads.

- Monitor water usage and adjust systems to promote water conservation.

- Collaborate with landscape teams to design and implement effective irrigation solutions.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on irrigation systems.

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their irrigation needs.

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

- Proven experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.

- Strong understanding of water management and conservation practices.

- Ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems efficiently.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
