Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist performs Radiology and CAT scan procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment and minimal supervision. This role applies prescribed ionizing radiation while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and adherence to established protocols.

The CT Technologist assumes responsibility for designated imaging areas or procedures and performs examinations on patients ranging from neonate to geriatric. This role prioritizes patient-centered care, professionalism, and technical excellence while supporting both hospital-based imaging and Free Standing Emergency Department coverage as needed.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Available Shifts:

Nights (Mon–Thu): 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM – Free Standing Emergency Department

Weekends (Fri–Sun): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM – Free Standing Emergency Department

Weekdays (Mon–Fri): 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:50 PM (Hospital – X-Ray & CT support)

Mixed Shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Fri–Sun – Hospital)

On Call:

As needed

COMPENSATION

Hourly Pay Range (Heavily Based on Years of Experience):

Minimum: $27.42 per hour  

Approximately 10 years experience: $33.59 per hour  

Maximum: $36.95 per hour  

Shift Differentials:

Evenings: $2.00 per hour  

Nights: $3.75 per hour  

Weekends: $3.50 per hour  

(Note: Weekend differential applies only if weekends are the regularly scheduled shift.)

Sign-On Bonus:

$20,000

Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program required

Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) and (CT) registry preferred

One year of CT experience preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date
