Job Summary

Trattoria Stella is seeking friendly, dependable individuals to join our front-of-house support team. This is an ideal position for students, those newer to the hospitality industry, or anyone looking to grow in a supportive, professional restaurant environment. Support staff play a vital role in our nightly operations by assisting servers and bartenders and ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and elevated dining experience. We will provide full training for those eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables between guests to maintain a polished dining room.
  • Greet and seat guests if working in a host role.
  • Refill water glasses, polish glassware and silverware, and assist with general upkeep of service areas.
  • Keep service stations stocked and organized throughout the shift.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and fellow support staff.
  • Maintain awareness of guest needs and help ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • No prior restaurant experience required — training provided for the right candidates.
  • Friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and work hard.
  • Evening and weekend availability preferred.


Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift).
  • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs (e.g., trays, bus tubs).
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
