Role Overview

Immersion Consulting is seeking a Senior HPE Morpheus Enterprise Consultant to deliver enterprise cloud automation and orchestration solutions for U.S. Government and regulated clients. In this role, you will serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor, guiding customers through the design, implementation, and optimization of HPE Morpheus Enterprise in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

You will work directly with client stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to mature automation capabilities, integrate enterprise platforms, and ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Technical Leadership

• Serve as a lead consultant for HPE Morpheus Enterprise engagements, translating business and mission requirements into scalable automation solutions
• Advise clients on cloud automation strategy, platform governance, and operational maturity
• Lead architecture discussions and contribute to enterprise cloud roadmaps
• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for government and regulated customers

Platform Design & Implementation

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of HPE Morpheus Enterprise platforms
• Develop and maintain: 
  • Provisioning blueprints
  • Automation workflows and tasks
  • Integration patterns and lifecycle policies
• Implement RBAC, policy enforcement, approval workflows, and governance controls aligned with client security requirements
• Support platform onboarding and adoption across multiple teams and mission areas

Automation & Integration

• Design and deliver automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform
• Integrate Morpheus with enterprise systems including: 
  • ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitoring and logging tools
  • Identity and access management solutions
• Support integrations across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including: 
  • VMware
  • AWS (including GovCloud)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Troubleshoot complex provisioning, orchestration, agent, and API integration issues
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of automation platforms
• Support clients through production issues and post-implementation enhancements

Compliance & Security

• Design and implement solutions in support of regulated and classified environments
• Ensure adherence to: 
  • FIPS compliance
  • System hardening standards (e.g., STIGs, NIST)
  • Zero Trust security principles
• Support cloud automation in AWS GovCloud and other restricted environments

Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer

• Mentor client engineers and junior consultants
• Deliver documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer sessions
• Contribute to Immersion Consulting best practices, solution templates, and reusable assets

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
• 4–7+ years of experience in: 
  • Cloud engineering
  • DevOps
  • Infrastructure automation
  • Platform consulting
• Strong hands-on experience with HPE Morpheus Enterprise or comparable Cloud Management Platforms (CMPs)
• Deep understanding of: 
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Cloud-native and hybrid architectures
  • REST APIs and infrastructure automation
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience supporting multi-cloud and hybrid environments
• Experience working in regulated or government cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting, architectural reasoning, and client-facing communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience consulting for federal, defense, or highly regulated customers
• Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud
• Familiarity with: 
  • FIPS compliance
  • Security hardening standards
  • Zero Trust architectures
• Prior experience influencing cloud governance and automation strategy
