Colusa Medical Center provides both inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency services, to the surrounding community bringing exceptional healthcare and service to our community. We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) to serve the mental health needs of our local rural community residents in Colusa, Williams, Arbuckle and nearby areas. Colusa Medical Center (CMC), is a hospital based system providing the following health services in Colusa, California:
  • Hospital Emergency, Acute & Rehabilitative Care
  • Rural Health Clinics providing Primary Family Practice and Specialty Care

Requirements

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing initial evaluations, individual, group, couples and/or family therapy. In addition, therapists will provide behavioral health consultation services to the Primary Care Teams within Pediatric and Adult outpatient clinics:


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • LCSW (California license)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consultations about clients
  • Initial mental health evaluations resulting in realistic treatment plans
  • Assessing clients using standardized assessment/screening tools, measures, etc.
  • Provide brief, solution focused therapy;
  • Provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to chronic medical conditions;
  • Provide information and referral services;
  • Care coordination
  • Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions
  • Provision of other services related to wellness
  • Documentation of services provided in accordance with requirements
  • Other related activities designed to provide integrated health care services
  • Individual psychotherapy with children, adults and families
  • Documentation and scheduling in electronic health record
  • Provide psychotherapy to children and adults

Salary Description
$45-$65
