Job description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team in Lexington, South Carolina. Please apply to the link at the bottom of this page to apply directly on our company website!
At Unumb Place, a DSP is more than a caregiver. DSPs serve as coaches, mentors, and advocates who help individuals with autism build independence, develop life skills, and achieve meaningful personal goals through an ABA-informed, person-centered approach.
DSPs support residents in daily living, social, recreational, and community activities while creating opportunities for growth, choice, and self-determination. Staff actively engage residents in the many amenities throughout the community, including a swimming pool, greenhouse, bike and walking paths, fitness gym, game room, computer lab, and community center.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others learn new skills, gain confidence, and improve their quality of life while fostering greater independence and community participation.
Shift times are 8 am - 8 pm for the dayshift position, and 8pm - 8am for the nightshift position.
