Position Overview:

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a PreOp/PACU assignment at a nationally recognized heart hospital in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports complex cardiovascular and surgical patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Schedule:

• Night shift

• 3x12-hour shifts

• Hours: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM

• Weeknight and weekend on-call may be required

Compensation:

• Gross: $2,233 per week

• W2: $21.00 per hour

• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,477 per week

• Locals accepted at the same rate

Contract Details:

• Start Date: February 23, 2026

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Number of Openings: 2

• Scheduling Type: Self-scheduling

• Orientation: 40 hours

Unit Overview:

This unit supports advanced cardiac and vascular surgical recovery, including:

• CABG

• AAA repair

• TAVR

• EVAR

• Fem-Pop and Fem-Tib-Peroneal bypass procedures

• Angiograms

• Pulmonary decortication

• Ablations

Patient Ratios:

• Days: 1:1

• Nights: 1:2

Work Environment:

• Phase I PACU / PreOp

• Teaching hospital

• Adult patient population

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required

• PreOp and PACU experience required

• Epic charting experience required

• BLS certification required

• ACLS certification preferred

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

• Level I trauma or outpatient experience preferred

• Valid compact or Ohio RN license required at time of submission

• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
