Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Oncology PCU assignment in Columbus, Ohio.

This role supports a complex oncology patient population in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit within a leading academic cancer center.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong PCU or telemetry experience who are comfortable managing high-acuity patients, including oncology cases requiring advanced monitoring, chemotherapy support, and complex care coordination.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Options: Days or Nights (3x12)
• Hours: 0700–1930 or 1900–0730
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Self-scheduling requests available prior to final schedule
• Floating within PCU or lower-acuity units required

COMPENSATION
• Weekly Gross: $2,359
• Pay package includes taxable hourly wages and tax-free stipends when applicable
• Locals accepted at same rate

CLINICAL FOCUS
• High-acuity oncology PCU patient care
• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Chemotherapy and blood product administration
• Infection prevention and fall risk management
• Multisystem oncology patient management

UNIT HIGHLIGHTS
• 36-bed oncology PCU
• Majority PCU-level acuity with limited Med-Surg overflow
• Academic cancer center environment
• Strong interdisciplinary oncology support teams

• Minimum 2 years RN experience REQUIRED
• High-acuity PCU experience REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS REQUIRED
• Epic charting experience REQUIRED
• Ability to float within PCU or lower-acuity units REQUIRED

• Oncology experience preferred but NOT required
• Previous travel experience preferred
