Tennis Maintenance Technician
Description

The Tennis Maintenance Technician is a key role in ensuring our tennis courts are in phenomenal shape. This individual will be responsible for daily maintance of the tennis courts including morning prepartion, mid-day grooming of the courts and executing special projects as they arise. To be successful in this position, this individual should have detail orientation, time management and problem solving skills.


Essential Roles & Responsibilities

The essential roles and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily inspections, cleanings and preparation of the tennis courts.
  • Maintain Har-Tu court surfaces.
  • Line courts accurately and ensure proper net height and tension.
  • Water, roll, brush, and repair courts as needed.
  • Identify and report maintance or safety issues promptly.
  • Maintain the court equipment, tools and storage areas.
  • Coordinate court closures and maintenance schedules with the operations teams.
  • Ensure courts meet the safety, playability, and aesthetic standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, manufactuerer guidelines, and company policies. 
  • Assist with special events, tournaments, and seasonal court preparation.  
  • Maintain inventory of court supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Requirements

Physical & Mental Demands

  • Must be able to stand for longer than eight (8) hours.
  • Must be able to move fifty (50) pounds on an intermittent basis.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, reach, twist, walk, crouch and squat.
  • Must be able to speak, hear, and see.
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Working Conditions & Environment

  • Must have open availability- weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
  • Must be able to work outside.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. 
  • Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the United States.
