Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for our clients data governance and strategic alignment with the DoD data strategy, aiming to ensure that data is visible, accessible, understandable, linked, trusted, interoperable, and secure(VAULTIS).
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Data Engineer provides expertise in:
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures supporting enterprise data catalogs and federated data environments.
- Experience integrating structured and unstructured data from clinical, operational, and research systems (e.g., EHRs, data lakes, APIs).
- Experience implementing metadata harvesting, data lineage, and data quality enforcement aligned with enterprise governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting AI/ML readiness through feature engineering, data transformation, and pipeline automation.
- Experience working within federal healthcare environments, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, DoD, and DHA data standards.
Minimum Education Level
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Certifications in cloud platforms or data engineering technologies(e.g., AWS Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, Databricks) preferred.
Minimum Experience
8 years (with at least 5 years designing and implementing enterprise-scale data pipelines supporting healthcare or federal data programs).
