Supervises assigned shift employees complies with and maintains all Safety, Quality and housekeeping standards. Specifically monitors production lines for Safety and Quality barriers and maintaining machine efficiencies. Responsible for directing the work of assigned personnel in order to meet daily production schedules. The Supervisor must work with QA, Engineering/Maintenance, Materials and HR/Safety teams to maximize the process conditions ensuring consistent production outputs.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Responsible for enforcing all company rules with regard to safety and housekeeping standards, and driving the safety culture with a behavior based orientation.

· Monitoring and reporting performance KPI’s Verify written information on production routing sheets and

· Responsible for maintaining production yields and efficiencies, quality and quantity standards on the shift.

· Maintaining and enhancing team members’ knowledge of all critical to quality and critical to processes elements and Plant safety programs.

· Monitor for trends, and report any process or equipment problems, documenting all maintenance breakdowns

· Responsible for checking all shop floor reporting needs, to insure it is completed timely and accurately.

· Work within an ISO 9001, IATF 19649, API Q1, and AS9100 operating environment

Requirements

Experience/Education Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED

· 3 – 5 Year experience in general manufacturing, prefer Rubber Industries

· Previous Supervisory experience in Manufacturing environment preferred

· Computer skills required. MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Experience in Rubber injection/compression molding and extrusion are a plus

Physical requirements

· Work performed in a factory setting; frequently walks the production shop floor.

· Regularly lifts and/or move up to 40 lbs and occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

· Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, kneel, crouch and walk about the production facility.
Regularly required to use their hands and fingers to feel objects that may be hot
