Production Associate
Description

To engage people with God and His Church through compelling worship experiences and clear communication channels.



Service Production and Ministry Support: ~70% 

• Assist the Worship Pastor and Production Director with the strategic implementation of Reach and Equip as it applies to weekend service programming, and other non-weekend ministry events within scope of responsibility.

• Set up, operate components, lead teams, and tear down for all services, rehearsals, and special events as assigned.

• Provide expertise and support in the areas of audio, lighting, video, and staging. 

• Help oversee the production quality of services and environments. 

• Assist in pre-production tasks including but not limited to: engineering and troubleshooting, technical support, testing and implementation of media content, equipment installation and maintenance, inventory control.

• Meet with the Worship Ministry staff team weekly for planning and evaluation.

• Collaborate with other ministries (youth, college, women’s, etc.) to provide programming, resources, and personnel to support. 


NPHX Church ministry needs as assigned Team Building Duties: ~30% 

• Help lead the production team to have hearts alive to God as they serve. 

• Ensure NPHX Church is supported by volunteers under areas of supervision to meet resource needs. 

• Train and provide development opportunities so team members grow in their skill and heart for God.

Requirements

• Ability to direct in a live production environment 

• Strong skills and experience with audio engineering in live environments required 

• Experience in other production-related fields such as lighting, video, and set design preferred 

• Knowledge of a range of production-related equipment including audio control, lighting  control, camera control, rigging, etc. preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications best practices

• Highly relational—ability to interact with a variety of people in a variety of circumstances 

• Self-motivation and commitment to excellence is required 

• A committed Christian living a life of obedience; beliefs consistent with NPHX Church statement of faith 

• Ability to appropriately handle confidential information 

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time 

• Must be/become a member of NPHX Church
