Adapt For Life is seeking a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our ABA Therapy and Autism Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and oversee individualized, evidence-based ABA treatment programs.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and modify treatment based on learner progress and clinical data.
  • Manage a caseload typically consisting of approximately 8 learners or up to 300 weekly RBT treatment hours.
  • Provide clinical supervision, training, and ongoing support to RBTs.
  • Provide caregiver training and collaborate with families to promote generalization of skills.
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, and other professionals when appropriate.
  • Complete treatment plans, assessments, session documentation, and other clinical requirements accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with your Clinical Director and clinic team to maintain high standards of clinical quality and champion Adapt For Life's mission and Core Values.

BCBAs are expected to maintain approximately 29 billable hours per week. Additional compensation opportunities are available through AFL's Dynamic Salary Clinical Compensation Program beginning at 30+ billable hours per week.


What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Applicable North Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment development, and data analysis skills
  • Experience supervising and developing RBTs
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Understanding of ethical standards and evidence-based ABA practices
  • Commitment to continued professional growth and exceptional learner care

Requirements

 

· Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education / special education, or a related field

· BCBA Certification required or waiting to take BACB examination within 30 days. 

· Current / ability to obtain Behavior Analyst Licensure (if state requires)

· At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders

· Experience in behavioral assessment and treatment

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

· Experience with children on the autism spectrum

· Possess a Valid Driver’s license

Salary Description
$80,000 - $95,000
