Medix Infusion is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the DFW area. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for advocating for and supporting patients while coordinating and facilitating the infusion therapy process. You will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless, high-quality patient experience.


This position requires collaboration with the Intake, Scheduling, Pharmacy, and Clinical departments to manage patient care while upholding compassionate, patient-centered standards.


This is an onsite opportunity, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, working as part of a small team with minimal supervision. The candidate must be willing and able to float between NRH, City View, Arlington, and Alliance locations as needed, and be willing to travel to Weatherford on an occasional basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for patients by addressing concerns and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance the patient experience 
  • Ensure timely and effective communication between departments and healthcare professionals 
  • Educate patients and families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and treatment adherence 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes 
  • Research and obtain additional data by consulting referring offices, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Managers, and Medical Directors 
  • Adhere to established clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure safe and effective infusion therapy 
  • Serve as a clinical resource to non-clinical staff within the Patient Services Department 
  • Complete work in a timely manner to prevent delays in patient care 
  • Attend departmental meetings and in-services 
  • Assist with staff orientation and training 
  • Demonstrate courteous, compassionate, and professional behavior at all times 
  • Perform all other assigned duties
     

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license with 1–3 years of hands-on clinical experience 
  • Valid nursing license with all credentials and certifications in good standing 
  • Prior experience in IV therapy or infusion nursing strongly preferred 
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment 
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
     

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Duties may include frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, talking, and hearing. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, and reading. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential for communication with patients, vendors, and staff.
